La 356 fu prodotta dal 1948 al 1966 ed essendo l’ammiraglia storica di tutti i modelli è quella che meglio si addice al concetto di restauro. Ma soprattutto trovi ricambi per tutte le versioni. Infatti dopo i primi modelli realizzati a partire dal 1948 ci sono poi stati dei sostanziali cambiamenti a partire dal 1956 quando fu introdotta la versione Porsche 356 A. Con questo modello furono lanciate le 5 motorizzazioni a 4 cilindri, mentre la carrozzeria a partire dal parabrezza risultava più morbida, con fanalini posteriori a forma di goccia. Ma soprattutto proprio a partire dalla 356 A alla sportiva tedesca venne aggiunto l’appellativo Carrera
Un’altra svolta si ebbe nel 1960 quando la serie A fu sostutuita dalla Porsche 356 B. Dove la differenza tra la 356 B 1600 e la 356 2000 Gs – Gt Carrera risiedeva proprio nella spinta di maggiori cavalli che passarono da 60 CV a 140 CV. Anche in questo caso si possono trovare leggere variazioni in relazione alla carrozzeria. A cambiare è soprattutto la parte anteriore dell’auto in particolare il paraurti posto 10 cm più in alto e l’ampiezza del cofano.
Se ti interessano i ricambi del modello C devi sapere anche che questo fu introdotto a partire dal 1964. In questo caso le uniche motorizzazioni furono la 1600 e la 2000 rispettivamente con 75CV e 130CV, l’unica differenza sostanziale fu nei cerchi leggermente più appiattiti visto che questo modello presentava freni a disco caratteristici per il minor ingombro.
